About our Church…

Take a few minutes to learning more about our church, our leadership team, and what we are trying to accomplish.

PSBC was built in the mid 1800’s and has been in constant operation since it was founded. Over the years things have changed- the pews are gone, the building has been renovated, the music has become more modern, and there is not a dress code. We try to focus on loving Jesus with our heart, soul, mind, and strength. That means we make every effort to love each other as well.

You will always be made to feel welcome. Come as you are- we don’t require perfect people. As believers, our hope for you (and us) is that we will be changed by the life saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Most people show up to church dressed casually. Some come early to listen to music and chat or simply to sit and pray. There’s always someone ready to chat or share in a handshake or a hug.

Short of Sin, we will do all we can to show you love, to show you grace, to walk through life together through the fellowship we share in the cross. While we do take the doctrine of salvation seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We definitely like to have fun as we use the giftings God has given us to carry out our work for Jesus. We look forward to meeting you.

Join us one Sunday at 10:30AM and see what we are about. Come early and/or stay late to fellowship with other like minded believers of all ages.

Welcome to PSBC

Our Leadership Team

We are currently searching for a new Lead Pastor

Interim Pastor - Mike Ring

Interim Pastor Mike RIng

Mike has been a staple of our church for many years. His service in the church includes being the Lead Pastor at PSBC in the 1990’s, acting as a church elder in recent years, currently leading the Men’s Bible study group, and now he has accepted the role of Interim Pastor. Mike loves to study the Bible and can actually read Greek and Hebrew! We enjoy learning and being challenged by his messages each week.

Women’s Ministry Leader - Marylin Newell

Marylin has been a staple of the ladies group here at PSBC for years. She has a doctorate, but is still down to earth and approachable. Everyone knows she loves the Lord more than anything, and she is a true counsellor to those who ask. She has grown the ladies group to be the foundation of our church for many years.
